Are you free?

Updated: Apr 15, 2022

Why is it important to refine our faith? Perhaps a better place to start is this:

~What does your faith mean to you?

~Why is faith important in your life?

~Who is God to you?

~Do you have a personal relationship with Jesus?

If you don't have answers to all of these questions that is okay. My hope is to lead you in recognizing truth by not only knowing scripture but living it out every single day. Our faith and hope is strengthened when we are grounded in the Word of God. Let's build a solid foundation together that is strengthened through the refining process.

"So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed." John 8:36 While so many worldly things try to distract us and enslave us, Jesus is the only way to be truly freed of all that weighs so heavy on our hearts. The freedom that comes through Jesus is simple. Freedom in Him is free; we don't have to buy it or earn it or be perfect to receive it. We just have to believe in Him. And when we do, the paddlelocks that hold us in chains are undone and the key thrown away for good. The weight of sin and shame is lifted and our souls feel lighter in the freedom found in letting go & trusting in truth.

Jesus is the only source for truth in this broken world and His life should be our example and our guide. We mess things up for ourselves when we think we know better. It may feel good in the moment, but in the long run the consequences weigh heavy on our souls. Let Jesus be our guide to true freedom.

Have you experienced the freedom that Jesus provides?

"It is for freedom that Christ has set us free. Stand firm, then, and do not let yourselves be burdened again by a yoke of slavery." Galatians 5:1
