Need a little encouragement in the middle of your week? Start your Wednesday's off right! Renew your spirit and refresh your soul.
"Be on your guard," Jesus says. A person who claims to be righteous, but doesn't follow through with their actions can be conniving and dangerous. Who knows what their true motives really are. They may speak in claims of helping and doing good for others, but what do their actions tell you?
In this world of chaos and deceipt, how do we know who is good and who is really a wolf? By the fruit they bear. Don't take words at face value, examine the actions. Dig deeper. Jesus tells us a bad person cannot bear good fruit. Hold them to Biblical standards. If your not sure how to do that or what standards this includes, pick up your Bible. Arm yourself with God's truth. It's the only way to discern who is good and who is evil.
Why is it so important to know the difference? Because we become who we allow to influence us. Their fruit can become our fruit. Have you ever heard the term "you are what you eat?" Taking a bite of that forbidden fruit just may poison you forever. Forever is a long time to be cut off and thrown into the fire of hell. So be on guard, and stay armed with the Truth.
